CADILLAC DRIVE RESCUE – Several local first responders and emergency agencies worked together to rescue and evacuate residents within the Cadillac Drive neighborhood in Vidalia.
A CARING COMMUNITY – Lyons Police Chief Wesley Walker (right) told the Lyons City Council that the Community Care Line was established because of law enforcement officials’ concern about the wellbeing of their community. HEAVY TURNOUT - Wheeler County Superintendent of Elections Karen Mercer looks over paperwork at her office in Alamo. Wheeler County turned out in force to support Donald J. Trump’s bid to return to the White House. This year’s voting was just 11 votes shy of the 2020 presidential election turnout which was conducted during the COVID-19 epidemic and heavy on absentee ballots.
GIVING THANKS – The Toombs County School System decorated a vehicle full of gift bags to give out to parents picking up their children in the car rider lines at each school during the month of November.
