Vikings Run At State Meet

The Treutlen County High School Vikings had just a few Vikings at the GHSA State A Track & Field Meet at Hugh Mills Stadium in Albany last week, but one of them came away with an individual title.

Timothy Blair finished in 2nd place in the preliminaries for the 100m dash, but in the finals he came through and brought home the gold medal and the State Title. Jordan Coney was 3rd in the 300m hurdles. Jordan Daniels finished in 6th place in the 200m dash. And Zay Lewis came in 6th in the 1,600m run.

In the 4x800m relay, the team of Zach Edge, PJ Smiley, Zay Lewis, and Meeko Terry finished in 4th place.
