VHS Madison Signs with BPC
At Vidalia High School Indian student athlete Jahlyn Madison signed a letter of intent for a scholarship to Brewton- Parker College in Mt. Vernon to run track for the Barons.
Madison was a member of the Indians Track & Field team in 2020 & 2022. On the 2022 Region 2AA Championship team he finished second in the 110 hurdles, third in the 300 hurdles and first on the 4×100 and 4×200 Relay team. At the AA State Championship Meet in which the Indians placed second as a team, he was a member of the State Champions in the 4×200 Relay, a School Record and State Record in the first-time event. “I am thankful for all the support from my coaches and family for this opportunity. Christian college, and I cannot wait to be a part of the team,” Madison said.
“As a family we are so proud of Madison and how he has earned this chance to continue his education and track career at Brewton- Parker. It is close to home, and we are looking forward to seeing him compete at the next level.” De‘Adria Salem said.
