Toombs County Grand Jury Returns True Bills of Indictment in 10 Cases
The May 2022 term of the Toombs County Grand Jury reconvened June 28 and returned 10 true bills of indictment in 10 cases presented by Middle Judicial Circuit District Attorney John A. “Tripp” Fitzner. Middle Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Robert S. Reeves presided.
Aggravated Assault, Kidnapping Cases
Bobby Brooks Brigman was indicted on seven counts for the May 19, 2020, offenses of Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Brigman was accused of unlawfully abducting two females and holding them against their will. He was also charged with assaulting the victims with a knife and attempting to strangle them.
Sean Michael Mann was indicted on one count for the May 20, 2021, offense of Aggravated Assault. He is accused of striking a female in the head with a bladed garden tool. Brandon Antron Scott was indicted on three counts for the March 26, 2022, offense of Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer. He is accused of pointing a deadly weapon at the officer while the officer was performing his official duties. Scott was also indicted for the Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, as well as the Obstruction of an Officer. Tyree Jamal White was indicted on two counts for the July 27, 2021, offenses of Aggravated Assault and Criminal Damage to Property. White is accused of discharging a firearm at a vehicle while it was occupied by a driver.
Christopher Dwayne Dykes was indicted on two counts for the June 20, 2022, offenses of Aggravated Battery (Family Violence), and Aggravated Assault (Family Violence). Dykes is accused of causing injury to a female’s jaw and attempting to strangle her.
Drug, Burglary Cases
Willie James Rogers was indicted on two counts for the May 18, 2021, offense of Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of a Controlled substance.
Melissa Childs was indicted on two counts for the June 14, 2021, offenses of Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
Joey Nicholas Foskey was indicted on one count for the June 29, 2021, offense of Sale of Methamphetamine.
Olivia Reba Braddy was indicted on one count for the July 26, 2021, offense of Possession of Methamphetamine. Andrew Jarrell Lillard was indicted on three counts for the September 5, 2021, offenses of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, and Burglary in the Second Degree. In addition to the drug and firearm charges, Lillard is accused of entering a store with the intent to commit a theft.
