Lady Crusaders Fall To Brentwood

The Robert Toombs Christian Academy Lady Crusaders softball team played one game last week against the War Eagles of Brentwood. It was a close game with Brentwood pulling ahead late.

RTCA got on the board first with a run in the top of the second inning and then added to that lead in the fifth with one more to take a 2-0 lead. Brentwood plated a run in the bottom of the fifth inning to close the lead to 2-1.

In the bottom of the sixth inning Brentwood added two more runs to pull ahead, 3-2, on RTCA. RTCA was not able to score in the top of the seventh inning as Brentwood got the win, 3-2.

This week RTCA played Pinewood on Tuesday after presstime. They will not be back in action until Monday of next week when they host Edmund Burke at 5:30 p.m.
