Blessing of the Animals—
The Episcopal Church of the Annunciation, 1512 Meadows Lane, Vidalia, will have a Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, October 2, at 4:30 p.m. Please bring in donations of dog and cat food to support SOAPS. All pets are welcome.
Monthly Meeting—
The Lyons Senior Citizens meeting will be held on September 27 at 11:00 a.m., at the Birthday House at Partin Park. Bring a covered dish. Everyone is invited to attend.
Life Chain—
The Toombs County Life Chain will take place on Sunday, October 2, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. All local churches and pro-life supporters are invited to meet at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Hwy. 292 at 1:30 p.m. to gather signs and stand in front of the railroad tracks across from Walmart to offer a prayerful, peaceful, silent witness to the sanctity of all human life.
Support Group—
The Sweet Onion Autism Support Group will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, October 13, at 6:00 p.m., at 912 Nutrition, 2339 E. First St., Vidalia. This will be a meet and greet with an introduction to the founder, and a time for input on the direction of the group.
