Two Busted In Drug Raid

Two individuals await a bond hearing with a Superior Court Judge after a bust by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Mount Vernon Police Department, and Oconee Drug Task Force on Friday, October 28. During the bust, officers executed a search warrant at the home of Crystal Elizabeth Warren, at 288 Geiger Street in Mount Vernon, and found Warren and Charles Clayton Clark, of Lumber City, to be in poss ession of marijuana and cocaine. Overal l, three vehicles, 2 grams of crack cocaine, 1 pound of marijuana, 4 firearms, and $2,000 cash were seized during this warrant execution.

Both individuals were charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and Trafficking in Cocaine. Additional charges were brought against Clark for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Warren received an additional charge of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. An outstanding warrant for Warren for Conspiracy to Commit a Crime from an unrelated case was also served.
