Wheeler Republican Party to Hold Caucus, Convention
The Wheeler County Republican Party will hold a caucus and county convention on Saturday, March 11, at the Civic Center, 96 NW Third Avenue, Glenwood, Georgia 30425. The caucus, to begin at 9 a.m., will convene to elect delegates and alternate delegates to the Wheeler County Republican Party Convention, which begins at 10 a.m.
The county convention will be held for the purpose of electing county party officers and delegates and alternates to the congressional district convention and the state convention. Additionally, the local convention will conduct all other business as necessary.
All Wheeler County residents who are legally registered to vote and believe in the principles of the Republican Party are urged to participate in the March 11 events. Delegates and alternates will be required to pay a fee of $5, which is to cover the cost of the county convention.
The 12th Congressional District Convention will convene on Saturday, April 22, at 10 a.m. at Jefferson County Multipurpose Complex , 1841 Hwy 24 West, Louisville, GA 30434. The District Convention will electofficers for district and state committee members for the next biennial. Delegates and alternates will be required to pay a fee of $20 which covers the cost of the convention.
The Georgia Republican Party State Convention will convene at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 9, in Columbus, and will elect state party officers for the next biennial, in addition to conducting all other business as necessary. Delegates and alternates will be required to pay a fee, which will cover the cost of the convention.
