Wheeler Takes 2 From Treutlen

The Wheeler County High School and Treutlen County High School baseball teams met up for a pair of games last week with the Bulldogs of Wheeler taking both games.

The first game of the week was on Tuesday of last week. The Bulldogs won the game by the run rule, 10-0.

The second game of the week was on Wednesday in Soperton. Wheeler rolled to another win, this time by the score of 16-1.

Wheeler is now 5-4 on the year and they are 2-0 in Region play. The Vikings are 1-7 on the year and are 0-2 in the Region.

This week Wheeler has a three-game series against Hawkinsville. The first game was on Tuesday after presstime. They will play on Thursday in Alamo at 6:00 p.m. and then on Friday at Hawkinsville at 6:00 p.m.

The Vikings will play a three-game series against Telfair County. The first game was on Tuesday after presstime. They will be in Soperton on Thursday and then in McRae on Friday with both games at 5:55 p.m.
