Gator Creek Young Guns Compete at SE Regional

The Gator Creek Young Guns traveled to Forest City Gun Club in Savannah, GA on April 14-16 to compete in the SE Regional competition. There were 614 athletes that attended this year to compete to be the best in the Southeastern United States.

In the Skeet competition, Morgan Rae Walker placed 1st in the ladies Rookie Division.

In the Sporting Clays competition, the following placed: Brendan Riggins placed 1st in the Jr Varsity Division and Morgan Rae Walker placed 1st in the ladies Rookie Division. The Rookie Division team consisting of Morgan Rae Walker, Cash Platt and Leah Yawn placed 1st among all other Rookie teams. The Jr Varsity Division team consisting of Brendan Riggins, Walker Spivey and Bo Bates placed 1st among all other Jr Varsity teams.

In the Super Sporting Competition, the following placed: Brendan Riggins 1st place in Jr Varsity Division, Bradlan Mc-Donald 1st place Varsity Division and Morgan Rae Walker 1st place in ladies Rookie Division. The Rookie team consisting of Morgan Rae Walker, Cash Platt and Gracyn Bohannon placed 1st among all other Rookie teams. The Jr Varsity team consisting of Brendan Riggins, Bo Bates and Walker Spivey placed 1st among all other Jr Varsity teams. The Varsity team consisting of Bradlan McDonald, Miles Hendrix and Aiden Singleton placed 2nd among all other Varsity teams.

In the Trap Competition, the following placed: Bradlan McDonald placed 1st in the Varsity Division shooting a straight 100 out of 100 targets, Morgan Rae Walker placed 1st in the ladies Rookie Division, Lily Cauley placed 2nd in ladies Jr Varsity Division, Brendan Riggins and Walker Spivey tied for 3rd place in the Jr Varsity Division with Brendan Riggins taking 3rd place by winning the shoot off. The Rookie Team consisting of Morgan Rae Walker, Cash Platt, Gracyn Bohannon and Leah Yawn placed 3rd among all other Rookie teams. The Jr Varsity team consisting of Brendan Riggins, Walker Spivey, Bo Bates, Lily Cauley and Sean Fitzgerald placed 3rd among all other Jr Varsity teams.

Brendan Riggins also won the Make a Break competition against all other competition contestants.
