VBOE Accepts Personnel Recommendations

The Vidalia City Schools Board of Education met in a called meeting on Tuesday morning, May 30, to accept person nel recommendations that were necessary to be decided prior to the next regular monthly meeting.
Resignations were accepted for J.D. Dickerson Primary School parapro- fessional Zoey Toole and J.R. Trippe Middle School Business Education teacher Stephanie Wardlaw.
Several new hires for the upcoming school year were also approved, including Nicole McDaniel – J.R. Trippe Middle School Business Education teacher; Joenice Vazquez – Vidalia High School Spanish Teacher; Kristin Champion – Vidalia High School Math teacher; Corbin Howard – Vidalia High School Audio Visual teacher; Taylor Radford – Sally D. Meadows Elementary School teacher, Jaylen Clements – Sally D. Meadows Elementary School Special Education teacher; Bethany Sullivan – J.D. Dickerson Primary School Paraprofessional, and Patrece Caver – Sally D. Meadows Elementary School teacher.
The Board’s next work session will be to allow the public to discuss the proposed budget, which is available online for review, on Monday, June 5, at 12 p.m. at the Board of Education. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, June 13, at 5 p.m.
