Juveniles Charged In Car Break-ins

Between Monday, July 3, and Wednesday, July 5, three juveniles were arrested and charged with entering automobiles after a joint investigation between the Vidalia Police Department Uniformed Patrol and Investigative Services Divisions.
Multiple cases of cars being broken into were reported between June 14 and 15 at both continued from page
the Acute Care Clinic and Sweet Onion Social bowling alley. After two weeks of investigations, it was suspected that three juveniles were the culprits. Jermaine Reese, 17, of Vidalia, and two other unidentified males, ages 15 and 16, were all arrested and charged with the crimes. Reese was transported to the Toombs County Detention Center, while the remaining two young men were handled through the Department of Juvenile Justice.
The Vidalia Police Department shared their gratitude to the public for all the help they received with the cases.
