The Dr. Mark and Tonya Spivey Public Library will offer a week of kids’ activities on July 25-August 2 based on the Donkey Hodie puppet series.

Donkey Hodie is a puppet series for preschool children from Fred Rogers Productions and Spiffy Pictures. The series features stories of adventure, imagination, and humor, through which Donkey Hodie and other characters empower children to dream big and overcome obstacles in their own way.

In partnership with the Georgia Public Library Service and Georgia Public Broadcasting, a traveling program based on the series will be stationed at the library from July 25-August 2, inviting the public to experience an immersive atmosphere, complete with activities. Each day will feature different activities in the community room at the library.

A party, scheduled from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on July 29, will complete the event. This event will feature an activity center, as children have the opportunity to participate in educational, fun, characterthemed games.

For more information on this event or the Dr. Mark and Tonya Spivey Public Library, call (912) 537-9283.
