RTCA went on to win the game by that score.
The top 3 offensive players of the game were Kight, Hankerson, and Powell. Kight with 86 passing yards, Hankerson with 70 receiving yards, and Powell with 88 rushing yards. The top 3 defensive players of the game were Landen Sauls with 14 tackles, Hill with 12 tackles, and Kight with 8 tackles.
Head Coach Matt Meeks stated, 'It was a great team win. A bunch of guys made really big plays throughout the game. Jayden Toole and Tripp Durden with crucial drive-stopping interceptions; Aaron Hankerson, David Hill, Justin Powell, and Hayden Kight all with big offensive plays. The big guys on the offensive and defensive lines did an outstanding job of holding their ground and making their offense work really hard, and then did a great job on the offensive side opening up running lanes for our running backs to do work. I am really proud of the defensive effort we put in to hold a very talented group of running backs scoreless.”
This week RTCA will be in Valdosta to take on the Valiants of Valwood School with kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
