The Premier Team (Shane Watson, Xavier Morales, and Manuel Ramos) returned to the national stage with CRL Qualifiers. The squad was able to go 6-0 for the day to qualify for CRL for the second time in program history.
BPC secured qualification with wins over Middle Tennessee State (2-0), Old Dominion University (2-0), Fanshawe College (2-0), University of Montreal (3-2), Grand Valley State (3-1 and 3-2).
NBA 2K New to the game offerings for the Esports Program, Brewton-Parker competed in its first competitive NBA 2K matchups with 1v1 and 3v3 games on tap.
For the 1v1 matches, Antrell Williams, Aaron Udell, and Keshawn Dixon all received forfeit wins to open the season on Tuesday. For the 3v3 match, Williams, Udell, and Dixon competed against Southern Arkansas University on Wednesday. The trio lost the matchup 3-0, losing the first game 22-12, the second game 22-6, and the third game 22-20.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Brewton-Parker competed in 3v3 and 4v4 matches this week in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in NACE and ECAC action.
The 3v3 team of Alsender Miller, Casey Yawn, and Jamie Mora faced Randolph-Macon College on Monday and dropped the match 2-0. Zachary Fabris, Miller, Yawn, and Mora then competed as a 4v4 side on Thursday night and won via forfeit over Keiser- Sarasota.
Fortnite
Kanan St. Rose and Cole competed in Fortnite Duos on Thursday night, while David Chanchavac, St. Rose, and Pullen competed in Fortnite Trios on Friday. Results for those competitions have not been posted due to the nature of the scoring.
