Kitten Yoga Comes to Vidalia Library

Kittens are coming to the Dr. Mark & Tonya Spivey Public Library! This month the library will be hosting its first ever Kitten Yoga program on October 27 at 4:00 p.m.

Partnering with certified yoga instructor Jessica Jackson, and Theresa Newgard of the Sweet Onion Kitten Club, we will be combining an evening of yoga with adorable feline friends that are looking for their forever homes. So if you are looking to enjoy a healthy activity with friends, with the option to love on some cute critters, you will not want to miss out.

Registration is required due to limited space and participants are asked to bring their own mats and be at least 13 years old. You can register by going on the Dr. Mark & Tonya Spivey Facebook page or by calling the library at 912-537-9283.

The yoga part of the program will run for an hour, while the kittens will still be available to snuggle afterwards. The program is free, but if you would like to make a donation to the Sweet Onion Kitten Club in the form of dry/wet kitten food, toys, or monetary donations, all would be welcomed.
