Crusaders Named All State

Robert Toombs Christian Academy had several players off of their State Champion softball team recognized for their play this season.

Four Crusaders were named to the GIAA All State Team. Seniors Bree Wimberly and Arlie Gooden, and juniors Railee Thomas and Meredith Durden were chosen as All-State and also All-Region players.

Senior Haylie Kight and freshman Leighton Williams were named Honorable Mentions for All-Region.

Durden was also named Player of the Year and Head Coach Brian Fitzgerald was named Coach of the Year for GIAA Class A.
