God’s Storehouse to Provide Thanksgiving Dinners on Nov. 22

The God’s Storehouse local food pantry has settled into their new location on Center Drive just in time for Thanksgiving, as the organization prepares to give away a free Thanksgiving meal to the public on Wednesday, November 22.
Currently, the pantry is struggling with the challenge of a small kitchen, as the current one they are operating out of is the size of an average household kitchen rather than an industrial kitchen. Nevertheless, the organization is passionate about ensuring everyone within the community has a traditional Thanksgiving meal, so they will work through those issues to provide families and individuals with entire feasts.
These feasts include a takeout tray filled with turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, giblet gravy, sweet potato soufflé, green beans, a dinner roll, and sweet iced tea. These dinners will be given out from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, at the new location of God’s Storehouse, located behind New Life Church of Vidalia on Center Drive.
