Quotes for our Times:
Leah Barkoukis, online features editor at Townhall.com: If elected, Trump says he won't be a dictator…but named one exception.
Trump got the liberal media’s attention when he said he’s not going to be a dictator, other than on his first day.
'We're closing the border and we're drilling, drilling, drilling,' Trump said. 'After that, I'm not a dictator.' …
Trump criticized primary opponents Gov. Ron DeSantis and former Gov. Nikki Haley over their positions on Social Security. The 45th president argued it's not necessary to make changes given 'we have money laying in the ground, far greater than anything we can do by hurting senior citizens with their Social Security.'
Matt Vespa, Senior Editor at Townhall. com: Maybe we should do what German Police did to Hamas supporters last month.
Last weekend, this band of pro-terrorist activists targeted Jewish-owned or supposedly pro-Israeli businesses. The Times Square McDonald’s was besieged. These aren’t small gatherings either, and these people are the pool from which terror groups will recruit to carry out attacks. They should be surveilled by federal agents and tracked because I don’t trust one of them. You flash a swastika, as we’ve seen nationwide at these pro-Hamas rallies, yell, “from the river to the sea,” or hurl antisemitic epithets; you should be placed under federal surveillance. To the students on visas who participate in these pro-terrorist protests, they should be deported.
Cast a wide net because the enemy is already here and has been for some time (again).
Byron York, chief political correspondent for The Washington Examiner: Liz Cheney for president?
But first, Cheney has a book to sell. That is why she is popping up on television these days. The book is 'Oath and Honor: A Memoir and a Warning,' her story of life opposing Trump. At the moment this is written (noon on Dec. 5), the book is No. 1 on Amazon. Good sales and lots of friendly interviews will surely nudge Cheney in the direction of running, at least until she realizes that all those Democrats and Never Trumpers who cheer her attacks on Trump don't necessarily want her to be president of the United States.
The Babylon Bee, fake news you can trust: Democrats say they need immigration to replace all the democrats they aborted.
Democratic party leadership reportedly held a top-secret closed-door summit last year to settle on a strategy to replace all the voters it had actively worked to slaughter over the last few decades. 'We can only commit so much voter fraud,' one Democrat insider admitted under the condition of anonymity. 'Eventually, we'll need a lot more than just phony mail-in ballots and machines that have been tampered with. We'll need actual real, live voters. Importing migrants is our only option. Plus, the more immigrants we bring in, the more babies we can keep killing! Best of both worlds!'
