Toombs County Schools to Hold 2024-2025 Pre-K Pre-Enrollment

Lyons Primary School (LPS) and Toombs Central Elementary School (TCES) will hold Pre-K Registration for the 20242025 school year on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at both locations from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Students must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2024.

Students will be registered or placed on a waiting list based on the following priorities: APRIL 11 REGISTRATION: Students who live in Toombs County and attend the elementary school they are zoned for by their home address will complete registration. APRIL 11 WAITING LISTS: Students who live in Toombs County but want to attend the opposite elementary school zone based on their home address. (Zoned for LPS, but would like to attend TCES or zoned for TCES, but would like to attend LPS.) And students who do not live in the Toombs County School District. Waiting lists will be filled the following week after registration is complete.

Parents must present the following completed documents in order to receive an enrollment packet.

• Insurance Card • Proof of Residency (Electric Bill, Water Bill, Lease Agreement. If the bill is in another person’s name, that person must also be present.)
