The Toombs County High School Bulldogs Esports team is poised to build on the remarkable achievements of their most successful season in school history as they gear up for the Spring 2024 season. With a historic 450th win, the completion of their first 100-win season, and the Splatoon 3 team securing a State Runner-up title for the second time, the Bulldogs are setting their sights on even greater achievements this year.

The Splatoon 3 team has wasted no time diving into the action this Spring, already participating in three scrimmage games. Victories over Mill Creek High School of Atlanta, Mona Shores High School of Michigan, and Lawton High School of Oklahoma have set the tone for what promises to be another exciting season. With their eyes fixed on the GHSA Esports State Championships in Carrollton this April, the Bulldogs are determined to leave their mark on the competitive gaming scene once again.

The return of Super Smash Brothers Ultimate to the Bulldogs’ lineup adds another layer of anticipation for fans and players alike. After a hiatus since the Spring of 2022, the team is eager to make a strong comeback in the popular title. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is also making its return, and the Bulldogs are determined to surpass last season’s impressive third-round playoff appearance.

All the excitement is set to unfold next week as the Toombs County Bulldogs Esports teams officially begin their season. Splatoon 3 will kick off the action on Tuesdays, followed by Super Smash Brothers Ultimate on Wednesdays, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Thursdays. All matches are scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. and will be streamed live on the team’s Twitch Channel at www.twitch.tv/toombsesports.
