Vikings Fall In Playoffs

The Treutlen County High School Vikings basketball teams played in the GHSA State A Division 2 Basketball Playoffs last week. The Lady Vikings dropped their first-round game to the #8 ranked team in the state, Early County. The boys also fell in their first-round matchup as they lost to Randolph- Clay.

Girls vs. Early

The Lady Vikings were outmatched by the Lady Bobcats of Early in the first round. Early jumped out to an early lead and went on to win the game 62-30 over Treutlen.

The Lady Vikings finished the season with an overall record of 15-12.

Boys vs. Randolph-Clay

The #9 ranked Treutlen Vikings battled but were upset in their first-round game to the Red Devils of Randolph-Clay. The Devils held the lead early and never let up as they rolled to a 68-46 win over the Vikings.

Treutlen finished the season with an overall record of 20-7.
