Toombs County High School Bulldogs Esports is off to an impressive start in the regular season, clinching their 500th win as a program alongside a string of victories. Led by senior Christian Castro, both the varsity Splatoon 3 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate teams are undefeated and highly ranked in the state.
In the opening week, the varsity Splatoon 3 team triumphed over Seminole County with a commanding 3-0 victory. They continued their winning streak in week two, securing another dominant 3-0 win against North Forsyth.
Likewise, the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate team showcased their skill with consecutive wins. They began with a convincing 3-0 victory over Heritage High School of Ringgold in week one, followed by a solid 3-1 triumph against Dawson County High School in week two, marking the program’s 500th win.
Despite facing tough competition, the Bulldog Mario Kart 8 Deluxe team displayed resilience, securing a 2-0 win over Putnam County in week one. Although they narrowly lost 2-1 against North Paulding in week two, the team remains determined and focused on future success.
