Indian Soccer Drops Matches
It was a tough week for the Vidalia High School soccer teams as they dropped their matches to Appling County and Toombs County. The Lady Indians are now 4-3 on the year and the boys are 2-5.
Girls vs. Appling
Appling took the lead in the first half of the game. The Lady Pirates scored two goals in the first half of the contest. They added two more in the second half of the game as they took the win over VHS, 4-0.
Boys vs. Appling
The VHS boys also fell to the Pirates. Appling found the back of the net seven times in the game. VHS scored four goals, but couldn't slow down the Appling offense. Appling took the win, 7-4.
Girls vs. Toombs
The Lady Bulldogs got two goals in the first half of the game and then held off the Lady Indians in the second half to take a 2-0 win.
Boys vs. Toombs
The TCHS boys rolled to a win over the Indians. Toombs held the Indians scoreless in the game, while the Bulldogs scored three goals in the first half and then four more in the second to take a 7-0 win.
This week the Indians hosted Savannah Arts on Tuesday after presstime. They will be back in action on Friday at Windsor Forest with the first game starting at 5:00 p.m.
