TCHS Esports Visit UGA

The Toombs County High School Esports team took a trip to the University of Georgia to tour the their Esports facilities and meet and play with UGA team members. Members of the TCHS Esports team were in Athens to attend the Technology Student Association State Conference and took the opportunity to visit UGA.

T.J. Stevens, President of Esports at UGA, talked to TCHS players about the opportunities available at UGA for Esports players. Stevens was a very talented Rocket League player at Forsyth Central High School who played against Toombs in the playoffs a few years ago. Stevens is a two-time State Champion and a one-time National Champion in high school.

Some of the TCHS players even had the opportunity to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Rocket League with the UGA players.
