MoCo ES Kindergarten Registration to Open April 15

Montgomery County Elementary School (MCES) will begin accepting registrations on Monday, April 15, for children who will be entering kindergarten during the 20242025 school year.

Any child who will turn 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024, is eligible to be enrolled in kindergarten; however, this registration event is only for children who are not currently enrolled in Montgomery County Pre-K or Headstart, as these students are automatically registered for this new grade.

Registration requires several documents to be submitted, including a certified copy of the child’s birth certificate; the child’s social security card; proof of residency within the county; certificate of eye, ear, and dental exam (Form 3300); and the child’s certificate of immunization (Form 3231). These forms should be gathered and submitted at the time of registration.
