Herron Speaks to Four Rivers Patriots Chapter

The Four Rivers Patriots Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting on Thursday night, March 21, at Chatters Restaurant in Lyons with President Steve De-Weil presiding. There were 17 in attendance.

After an outstanding meal, President Steve called on Dess Smith III, the Vice President of the East Fall Line Region, for a special presentation. Compatriot Dess presented President Steve with a Chapter Flag Streamer of the 245th Anniversary Celebration of the Brier Creek Battle that was held on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

Lee Herron, the Vice President of the Brier Creek Chapter in Screven County, presented his program on 'Capt. Jack Jovett, the Paul Revere of the South.'

Next month's meeting will be held on April 18 at Chatters Restaurant, with Mike Lisenby presenting his program on 'The Constitution.”
