Wheeler With Two Wins
The Wheeler County High School Bulldogs baseball team finished off the regular season with two wins. They won over Hawkinsville and Claxton last week as they closed out the season with a record of 20-5, and 12-3 in Region play. vs. Hawksinville
The Red Devils took the lead in the top of the first inning with two runs. But in the bottom of the frame the Bulldogs jumped out in front as they scored five runs, all of them unearned.
Hawkinsville added three runs in the top of the third inning to tie the game at 5-5, but Wheeler answered with three in the bottom half with Kyler Stinson hitting a two-RBI triple, and Danyon Hayes a sacrifice fly for an 8-5 lead.
Each team scored three more runs in the fourth inning, and Wheeler added a run in the sixth to push their lead to 12-8. Hawkinsville
