Bulldogs To Play For State Title

The Toombs County High School Bulldog soccer team is advancing to the GHSA State AA Championship after a compelling 3-1 victory over Fellowship Christian last Friday night in The Pit.
The match was marked by a strong first-half goal from Alejandro Tinoco and solidified by second-half goals from Axcel Barbosa and Yovanny Zamorano, propelling the Bulldogs into the Championship Game. Toombs scored just the one goal in the first half of the contest, but they missed on a few other opportunities. They also controlled the ball through much of the game. in school history. The Bulldogs will face Model High in the Championship match this Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Mercer University in Macon. This game is a testament to the team’s hard work throughout the season and the incredible support they have received from the community.
