TCHS Bulldogs Track At State Meet

Toombs County High School Track and Field wrapped up their season with a commendable performance at the GHSA AA State Track Meet. The Bulldogs showcased their skills and determination, securing several notable finishes across various events.
Shay Stringer led the charge for the girls, placing 4th in the discus. On the boys’ side, Brock Nobles completed his athletic career at Toombs with a 2nd place finish in the discus and 8th place finish in the shot put, marking a successful meet for him.
Caden Marsh excelled in the shot put, clinching the 2nd spot. However, the competition was tough in the hurdles and long-distance events. Erick Stevens competed in both the 110m hurdles and 300m hurdles, finishing 11th in both, while Juan Luna took on the 3,200 meter run and finished 12th. The boys’ 4×100m relay team, consisting of Erick Stevens, Don Mincey, Lagonza Heyward, and Keshon Deloach, also placed 11th, showcasing their speed and teamwork on the track.
As the season concludes, the Toombs County Track and Field team has much to be proud of. Their hard work and achievements reflect a season of dedication and growth.
