14u Boys At Lyons Tourney

The 61st Annual Lyons Youth Tournament is in full swing as the 14u boys kicked off the tournament on May 14. Lyons was the only local team that competed in the tournament. They did not fare well as they lost their first two games.

Lyons took on Long County in the first round of the tournament and fell 11-1. That sent LRD into the losers' bracket. In their next game, they faced off with Appling County, who won the game, 12-6. That ended the tournament for Lyons.

The Championship Game was between Glennville and Long County. Glennville came out of the winners' bracket and won the Championship, 5- 3.
