Vidalia to Celebrate 4th With a Bang!

The City of Vidalia will celebrate Independence Day with a bang, as it hosts the annual July 4th Celebration and Fireworks at the Ronnie A. Dixon City Park.
This free event will kick off at 5:30 p.m., as gates open to the public. Food, drink, and wine vendors will be in the area, and kids’ activities will be available to ensure that people of all ages have fun. The Ray Howard Band will take the stage at 6:30 p.m., as it performs a set dedicated to the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Earth, Wind, and Fire. Fireworks will light up the skies at 9:30 p.m.
Patrons are welcomed to bring chairs to sit and enjoy the festivities, but coolers and pets will not be allowed entry into the park. For more information, call the Vidalia Convention and Visitors Bureau at (912) 538-8687.
