Wilson Johnson to Be Honored at Luncheon

Longtime “Straight Talk” radio show host Wilson Johnson will be honored at a luncheon celebrating the show and his tenure at the WVOP Vidalia AM/FM radio station.

The event will be held at the Dixon Building in the Ed Smith Recreational Complex on Friday, June 28, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., and will feature a catered meal. Former Vidalia Communication Corporation General Manager Zack Fowler will deliver the keynote address. The ceremony will commend Johnson for his service to the community through the weekly show.
