GSP Investigating Head-On Collision

The Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team (SCRT) is continuing to investigate a head-on collision that closed all four lanes of State Route 30 on Friday, June 21.
At 10:55 p.m. Friday, state troopers responded to the two-vehicle headon collision at the intersection of State Route 30 and Rigsbee Drive. The crash caused serious injuries to the four individuals inside the vehicles, who currently remain unnamed by officials.
During the on-scene investigation, troopers discovered that the atfault driver was under the influence of alcohol. Charges are pending in this case.
The severity of the accident caused the crash location to be closed until 2:30 a.m. on June 22.
The SCRT is further investigating the incident to uncover all details of the accident.
