Statewide Bible Reading—

Toombs, Montgomery, and Wheeler Counties will host their annual Statewide Bible Reading at each county courthouse, beginning at 7:14 a.m. on Sunday, July 14.

Clothes Giveaway—

New Life In Christ Ministries, 208 Meadowbrook St., Vidalia, will open their Clothes Closet on Saturday, July 13, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There will be clothing and shoes for men, women, teens and children, along with accessories and homegoods items.

Support Group—

The Sweet Onion Autism Support Group will meet on Thursday, July 25, at 6:00 p.m., at Vidalia Recreation Department, Dixon Building, 102 Stockyard Rd., Vidalia, for their annual Bingo fundraiser. Everyone is invited to attend.

Vacation Bible School—

Shiloh Methodist Church, 2400 Georgia Highway 19, Wheeler County, is sponsoring a one-day carnivalthemed Vacation Bible School on Saturday July 20, 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The free event will include games, a water slide, bounce house, activities and food.

Latin Fest—

A Latin Fest health and resources fair will be held Saturday, July 13, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 3119 N Street, E, Vidalia, sponsored by Community Health Works and Gardens of Hope. In addition to a festival atmosphere including music and food, as well as games and face painting for kids, information and services related to healthcare, schools, and advocacy for immigrants will be available.
