PAYH Riders Return Home
The boys are back. The Paul Anderson Youth Home riders returned home last Friday after a long week. They traveled around 550 miles over the span of seven days, beginning and ending at the PAYH campus in Vidalia.
Everyone made it through the ride safe and sound. It was a week of learning, overcoming and triumph for all of the riders and staff involved. They were welcomed back home by a large group of people out in front of the main house at PAYH around lunch time on Friday.
The staff at PAYH wanted to thank all of their amazing riders, volunteers, and sponsors who came together over the past week to support the young men and the legacy of Paul Anderson. They added that they are so blessed for this community that keeps on pedaling forward with PAYH.
There will be more information coming over the next week as the riders have a chance to reflect on what they have accomplished.
This year PAYH had a fundraising goal of $146,000 for the ride, it being their largest fundraiser of the year, and they again met that goal as they are currently are nearing $160,000. They are still verifying the total raised and those numbers will be released when they are tallied.
Congratulations to all that were involved in this year's ride.
