Lyons Citizen of the Year

The Lyons Lions Club and City of Lyons will host the annual Lyons Citizen of the Year celebration at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, at the Callaway Community Center.

They are currently accepting nominations for the award.

Nomination forms may be picked up at Lyons City Hall, or the Lyons branches of Peoples Bank, Vidalia Federal Savings Bank, and Ameris Bank.

Saturday

The Downtown Vidalia Association will host their monthly Sweet Saturday event from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 10.

This month’s theme is Team Spirit, and patrons are encouraged to wear their clothing featuring their favorite sports team. The event will feature inflatable bounce houses, a video game truck, vendors, and more. For more information, call (912) 537-8033.

Opening
