Wheeler Falls To Trinity

Wheeler County High School’s Lady Bulldogs softball team took on Trinity Christian last Thursday and fell to the Lady Crusaders 5-1.

Trinity got the scoring started in the bottom of the third inning with two runs. They added two more in the fourth inning to take a 4-0 lead.

Wheeler plated a run in the top of the fifth inning, but Trinity answered with one in the bottom of the frame to make it 5-1. Trinity held on to take the win by that score.a Wheeler was scheduled to take on Treutlen County on Tuesday of this week and Northside of Warner Robins on Wednesday in a double header, but weather will affect both of those contests. They are scheduled to open Region play on Thursday at Dooly County with a double header, but that will depend on the weather and field conditions. The first game is to start at 4:00 p.m.
