RTCA Softball Over Heritage

The Lady Crusaders of Robert Toombs Christian Academy took the short trip to Vidalia Heritage Academy on Monday of this week and came away with a run rule win over the Lady Eagles.

In the top of the first inning, RTCA broke the game open as they plated nine runs. Meredith Durden drove in a run with an RBI triple, followed by an RBI double from Annabelle Coe. Emily Edwards drove in two runs with a single, and Mary Frances Stanely tripled bringing in another two runs for RTCA. A run scored on an error and then Durden picked up two more RBI's as RTCA took a 9-0 lead.

RTCA added eight more runs in the second inning with Stanley Railee Thomas, and Chesney Burch all picking up RBI's in the inning. RTCA capped off the win with two more runs in the top of the third inning on the way to a 19-0 win.

Durden also got the win in the circle for RTCA.

RTCA will host Thomas Jeff erson at 6:00p.m. on Wednesday, and will be at Pinewood after presstime. They won't be back in action until next week.
