The Vidalia High School Indians football team traveled to Twin City last Friday night to take on the Bulldogs of Emanuel County Institute. It was a very low scoring contest. The varsity squads played the first three quarters of the game with the JV teams wrapping up in the fourth quarter.

The game was scoreless through the first half of the contest. The only score of the night in the varsity portion of the game came on a 54-yard field goal from ECI as time ran out in the third quarter.

Vidalia did pick up a touchdown from the JV in the fourth quarter.

VHS will be on the road this Friday night to open their season with a contest at AAA Long County in Ludowici. Kickoff against the Blue Tide is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
