Vidalia Superintendent Announces “Listening Tour”

Vidalia City Schools Superintendent Sandy Reid has announced the district’s first “Listening Tour,” which will be held throughout the rest of the month.

These meetings will allow the public to meet Reid in person to discuss any concerns, questions, or ideas that they have regarding the school system in an effort to work collaboratively as a community to improve the district.

Several meeting locations and dates are offered to help ensure that everyone has the chance to participate in the events. They are: • ursday, August 15, at the Vidalia Recreation Department Dixon Building (102 Stockyard Rd.)

• ursday, August 22, at the Toombs County Boys & Girls Club (800 3rd St.)

• Monday, August 26, at the Vidalia First African Baptist Church (206 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.)

• ursday, August 29, at the Vidalia Church of God (401 Adams St.)

• ursday, September 5, at the Pal Theatre (122 Church St.)
