Gamecocks take the ball over at their 37-yard line. On the first play from scrimmage, Abram Hilton scampered 63 yards for the Gamecocks’ only score, making the score 21-7, Vidalia with 7:20 left to go in the third quarter.

The Indians misjudged the ensuing kickoff, pinning them deep at their 15-yard line. But the Vidalia offense responded with a long 85-yard, 14play, time-consuming drive, which was capped by Jamarion Phillip’s 2nd touchdown of the night on a 1-yard run to make the score 28-7, with 9:29 remaining on the clock.

The Indians’ solid defense locked down the rest of the game, securing the 28-7 win for Vidalia. Next, they will face Tattnall County at Buck Cravey Field, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. this Friday.
