Heritage Academy Softball Drops Two
The Vidalia Heritage Academy Lady Eagles softball team continue to try to improve and work on building up their new varsity program. They faced off with Trinity Christian and David Emanuel Academy last week, dropping both of those games. vs. Trinity Trinity jumped out with 5 runs in the top of the first inning on the Lady Eagles of Heritage. Trinity then added 3 more in the second inning to take an 8-0 lead.
The Lady Crusaders plated 2 more in the third inning and 3 in the fourth on the way to a 13-0 run rule win over VHA. vs. DEA
DEA scored 5 runs in the top of the first inning to take the early lead, and they then added 9 more in the second as they went on top, 14-0.
Heritage managed to get 2 runs across in the bottom of the second inning, but DEA answered with 3 more in the top of the third to take the win by the run rule, 17-2.
This week VHA played Citizens Christian on Monday after presstime. They will be back in action next week.
