Missing Juvenile Located

The Toombs County Sheriff’s Office has announced that a 16-year-old from Normantown, who was previously reported as missing, has been safely located.

On Sunday, August 25, deputies informed the public that Ally Goodwin had been reported missing by her family after she left her home between midnight Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday. The family told authorities that Goodwin had used a family member’s phone without permission to get someone to pick her up from her home. The person she contacted, who apparently did not agree to the arrangement, is unknown.

Later Sunday night, deputies announced that Goodwin had been found safe, but did not provide any further details on the case.
