MoCo Grand Jury Returns 32 Indictments

The Montgomery County Grand Jury convened for its last session of the year on August 19, as the body returned 32 true bills of indictment to the court.

Among the indictments were several cases of assaults and driving infractions, and a single case regarding the damage to government property.

Lamar Michael Logan was indicted on charges of interference with government property, felony theft by taking, obstruction of an officer, and possession of marijuana (less than an ounce) for his actions on September 15, 2023. On this date, Logan allegedly stole money from the Dairy Queen of Mount Vernon, and then fought Mount Vernon Police Officer Bryan Vickery when Vickery attempted to detain Logan. Once loaded into the patrol car, Logan kicked the door, window, and interior cage of the vehicle, damaging the car. He also was found to be in possession of marijuana when detained.

Other indictments included: • Mitchell Grant Wil liams: aggravated assault; driving on suspended, canceled, or revoked registration; hit and run; driving without a license; theft by taking • Craig Antonio Single ton: possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; hit and run; driving under the influence (less safe) (alcohol); following too closely • Mickey Henry Moore: possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony; aggravated assault (two counts); terroristic threats • Daniel ScoG Sisson: identity fraud; exploitation and intimidation of a disabled adult, elder person, or resident • Edison Young III: identity fraud; exploitation and intimidation of a disabled adult, elder person, or resident.
