Toombs County Special Education and Hu- man Resources Director Sabrina Woodruff has been selected to chair the Greater Vidalia Chamber’s 2024 REACH Campaign, which is slated to begin later next month.

REACH is an an nual campaign during which volunteers from the Chamber gain financial support for the Chamber’s yearly events through the sale of sponsorships.

These sponsorships allow businesses to advertise themselves at a variety of events, and ultimately work to gain exposure and clientele for each participant.

Greater Vidalia Chamber Executive Vice President Debbie Evans further explained the program, saying, “Through this endeavor, businesses will find increased opportunities to gain exposure among Chamber membership and stakeholders.

Additionally, they will experience a greater return on investment by securing higher profile visibility in the community through Chamber programs and initiatives.”

Chamber Chairwoman Stephanie Williams added, “It’s important to understand the mission of businesses and their actions to meet their target markets. We hope all businesses – especially smaller businesses – will see REACH as a way to get involved in the chamber programs with which they feel most connected.”

Each year, the Chamber selects a local leader to lead volunteers through this program; this year, it was Woodruff who answered the call to serve.

Woodruff is no stranger to the Chamber, as she currently serves on the agency’s Board of Directors, and has been on the Showcasing Greater Vidalia Committee Board since 2016, and even chaired the event from 2022-2023.

She is also a 2021 graduate of the Leadership Greater Vidalia program.

“As part of the regional business community, I believe in the mission of the Greater Vidalia Chamber and the avenues which they seek to grow not only our regional business environment but also each individual business,” she emphasized. “I look forward to working with the Chamber and REACH team for the betterment of our local business community.”

Woodruff and volunteers will begin contacting business owners about marketing opportunities in the coming weeks, as the campaign kicks off on September 24. For more information, call the Greater Vidalia Chamber at (912) 537-4466.
