discounts, so I can enjoy a meal without feeling guilty — like I’ve splurged too much. They also offer discounts on electronics, streaming services, and even online courses.

Being a member of AARP is like a backstage pass to the second act of my life. It’s like having a personal assistant whose sole job is to make sure life after 50 is smoother than a velvet recliner. Joining AARP might sound like a ticket to senior citizen status (not that I think that anyone in their 50s is “old”), but let me tell you, it’s like finding a secret membership to the coolest club you never knew you wanted to be in.

So that’s my unpaid endorsement of AARP. I’m not a fan of growing older, but I am a fan of doing it wisely and with style and grace, and AARP is helping me do that.
