In the top of the third inning, a fielder’s choice by Lilly Grace Maybin put VHS back on top, 2-1. VHS plated three more runs in the fourth inning as they increased their lead to 5-1.
VHS capped off the day with a solo home run by Ivy Berry in the top of the seventh inning on the way to a 6-1 win over Savannah.
