BPC Wrestling Releases Schedule

The Brewton-Parker men's and women's wrestling programs are excited to announce the release of their 2024-25 schedule. With the fall season well underway, it is time to look forward to winter sports, and wrestling kicks off their campaign soon.
Women
The Lady Barons will kick off the season with the UMO Open on November 2, on the road. They are excited to have 10 regular-season matches this year and one home match in the new year on January 10, celebrating senior day.
Coach Josua Sturgil stated, 'I am excited to go into the wrestling season this year with an eager team ready to showcase their abilities and compete for the glory of God!'
The Lady Barons have six straight road matches, go to the Life Duals on November 8, and have the Eagles Madness match on November 9. The Lady Barons' last match of November is on the 16 and is the Liberty Duals. The Lady Barons have two matches in December, the sixth at the Patriot Dual and the 13, with the E& H Wasp Open.
After Senior Night at home, the Lady Barons go back on the road for the Warrior Duals on January 24, and the Warriors Women's Open on January 25. Their final match is on February 1 at the LWC Raider Open. The Postseason begins on February 27, with the MSC Conference Championships and, finally, the NAIA National Tournament on March 14.
Men
The Brewton-Parker Men's Wrestling program is excited to announce the release of their 202425 schedule. BPC men's wrestling is kicking off the start of fall on October 24, at 7:00 p.m. with their Inter Squad match in Gillis Gymnasium.
The Barons are excited to have 15 regularseason matches this season. They have four home matches and 11 road matches. The Barons kick off their regular season on the road at the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky on November 2.
Coach Tyler Smith shared his thoughts on the upcoming season, 'We are excited about wrapping up pre-season and getting these guys on the mat! We have a lot of new faces and a solid group of returners, and we're thrilled at the opportunity to build upon last year's successes. I feel good about the team we are building in south Georgia.'
The Barons get the opportunity to return home after their first match of the season. They will face Life University on November 9th at home before returning for four straight games. On November 10, the Barons will face Emmanuel University and King University on November 17. They will head out to face Reinhardt University on November 22, and then take on Life on the road.
The Barons face Truett McConnell University at home on December 4, before returning for five straight road matches. They face St. Andrews University and Coker on December 7, then head to the Rocky Top Duals on December 14, a break before the new year.
To start 2025, the Barons head to face St. Thomas University on January 17, and then the SEU Open on January 18. The Barons wrap up their road trip with Missouri Valley College on January 24.
The Barons have a home match on February 1, against Southeastern University. The next meet is at Newberry College on February 2. The Barons have their final home match on February 6, against Andrew College before the postseason begins.
The start of the postseason starts with the AAC Conference Tournament on February 21, before the NAIA National Championships on March 6.
