Food, Ice

Several distribution points are set up throughout the area to provide residents with free water, food, ice, and tarps. These points are — Montgomery County: the resources are available at the Montgomery County High School (100 Faye D. Brewer St. in Mt. Vernon) and First Baptist Church Mt. Vernon (120 South Railroad Ave.); Wheeler County: Wheeler County Community Center (3318 GA HWY 126 in Alamo), Glenwood City Hall (96 NW Third Ave.), and Sardis Baptist Church (2263 GA HWY 126 in Glenwood); Toombs County: Toombs Central Elementary School (172 N Toombs Central Rd. in Lyons), 1601 U.S. Hwy 1 North in Lyons, Oaks Baptist Church (920 NW Broad St. in Lyons), and Vidalia Church of God (401 Adams St. in Vidalia).
